Kabula Arts offers capoeira angola classes and workshops in London and UK. We offer classes to all ages and levels from Monday to Saturday in Stockwell, Dalston and Chalk Farm (as part of the London Capoeira Co-Operative).
We have a team of experienced teachers which works in collaboraton and in assistance with a Brazilian Capoeira Master, Mestre Carlão.

Come to a visit in Kabula and start to practice this unique Art Form from Brazil!

Mestre Carlão's class

This is a great opportunity to meet M. Carlão and also to share and get together with other capoeiristas and capoeira schools in London.
Note that the main objective of this special class is to fundraising for Movement for Change :: The Capoeiragem Conference 2011. It means that if you come to this class you will be supporting the Conference and the two especial guests for this event: M. João Grande and M. Gato.

This Tuesday in Dalston we are doing a Homage Roda “em Memória” to Mestre Peixinho* (Marcelo Azevedo Guimarães) dead yesterday (16th May)  in Rio de Janeiro. He was one of the founders of “Centro Cultural Senzala de capoeira.

We’re very happy to say we have now confirmed with Petchey Academy that we’ll be holding classes there from Tue 3rd May onwards.
The first class went very well and the vibe was great – thanks M. Joãozinho for coming along for the Roda!
Classes will re-start from the first week of May, every Tuesday and Thursday as usual.
The new space offers all the facilities we need before, during and after the classes with receptionist, wooden floor, changing room, showers and a great size studio for training.

Students during roda event

If you didn’t know already we were having Rodas on  Thursdays, but from now, due to logistical changes, we will now have ALL Rodas on Tuesdays.

We hope you can still come to support them  and if you never came then maybe this is a great opportunity to experience a supportive and friendly Capoeira Angola Roda.
