London Capoeira Co-Operative
Saturday at the Thanet Centre
On the 15th of October, the London Capoeira Co-Operative will host Mestre Índio (Grupo Angola Dobrada). We are glad to inform that for this term Chris Figura, which is coordenation the Co-Op, has already confirmed the presence of a variety of Masters and teachers, always from different schools of Capoeira to bring to you a unique opportunity to learn and share with teachers from abroad and also with the local ones.
The Co-Op classes is being an unique opportunity to meet people in the London and International Capoeira scene, sharing information, strengthening our comunity and raising awareness about many subjects related to capoeira and Afro-Brazilian culture. Bring your friends and familly to join in a friendly capoeira environment.

Cooperatives are a great concept. It’s even better when they are applied. The best is when these cooperatives lead to positive growth and creativity. Capoeira itself is born of this principle. The concepts of batuque, batucada are all based on cooperative exchange. It’s great to see this cooperative both continuing and flourishing. Perhaps the next step will be for several more cooperatives launched worldwide following this ones success. C u all in the roda

It’s already happening Rajesh I have had a lot of interest and people writing to me from all around the globe asking about Urban Ritual and why and how it works. It is infectious and quite clear that all involved like the vibe created when players come out there the school that they learned in and share their game…
Where are you though – long time since I saw you at a roda? come on apply your thinking…. haha
