Tuesday we will be hosting Prof. Toca at the St. Marks Church, the class will have some focus on berimbau so bring one if you have one!
This Thursday the 19th, Kabula is hosting Urias de Oliveira from Cia. Tapete Criações for a workshop. based on one of the most rich cultural melting pot of Brazil: São Luis do Maranhão. Mestre Urias will lead a 2 hours of Maranhão dances workshop including dances from other areas of the Northeast of Brazil. It’s a unique opportunity to meet and learn from Urias a autentic popular artist from Maranhão.
