Using the beautiful art form of capoeira that combines martial arts and dance, this workshop led by Greg Hicks and Mestre Carlão will focus on how Hicks uses the art-form to get into texts. This workshop is aimed at those with some experience in capoiera and aimed at those aged 16 and above.Greg Hicks has over 30 years experience as a classical actor and is currently playing King Lear with the Royal Shakespeare Company.Mestre Carlão is from Rio de Janeiro and is one of the most respected London based masters of the Afro-Brazilian martial art/dance capoeira.Part of Festival Brazil sponsored by HSBC.
