Capoeira Angola & Percussion

Kabula Music

May 24th, 2010  |  Published in Featured, Music

Kabula has strong connections with the Oral-Rhythmic Traditions of Brazil, not just in terms of Traditional and main bits and lyrics which we use in our regular classes and rodas in the venues and in open spaces like in Camden Town by the Lock.

Said that, we really believe that the movements, the energy and the strenght of the participants and students of Kabula will take the most form the classes and learning if they also learn how to play, where it comes from and why and when we have to play all the many rhythms we have in Capoeira and in Congada, Maracatu, Samba de Partido Alto, Baiao, Maculele.

We also provide notations from where the students and practioners will transform the theory in fun and excitment.
